Question about cigarettes

I have enjoyed a cigarette here and there from time to time. The last time I smoked was in 2012, and the other day felt like having a cigarette so bought a pack of the ones I used to enjoy.

Now depending of the place and occassion I could smoke up to a pack a day while on Holidays.

However, this time just one cigarette gave me a buzz like I never experienced before, its almost like a nice high. I am on my third pack now and every cigarette gives me the same buzz, which is really good.

My question is are they putting something different on cigarettes now to make them like this, I am almost convenience they are adding something to it, because it's just not the same.

They were like that as far as I can remember when I was in late teens/young adult, it's because you are not smoking them regularly that you get a head rush.

Something to think about - A friend of mine, a smoker, died at 6 PM Monday from lung cancer. As far as I know he didn't know he was ill before he was suddenly taken sick. He spent only about 1 day in the hospital before he died.

Better to never start. A buddy just bought a pack of smokes the other day. After quitting for about 4 years. He weaned himself off ciggies by vaping. Weaned himself off that and was smoke and vape free for months. Until he started Jonesing for a smoke. Just when you think you're out, they pull you back in.
I think I finally quit. Pushed my luck for long enough. Choice between comfort and fear of throat cancer. Fear won out.

Don't get hooked on the habit. Your money is better spend on MPA's.
You never look back fondly at a particular cigarette that you smoked a while back.
