I attended university in Montreal at a time when the PQ was on the rise and they said the future belonged to them because all the young people were separatists and were taught by separatist school teachers. These young people are now in their 30's and 40's with families to support, jobs to perform, mortgages to pay and money needed to save for retirement. Separatism is not top of mind for them anymore. Amazing how one's wisdom grows between the age of 16 and 35.
