I seldom hear Stairway to Heaven on Q107, but your point is taken. They are getting too repetitive and I'm getting tired of listening to The Band. If I hear "Stage Fright" one more time I'm gonna scream.

Y108 is better and they play some newer stuff too.

I'm loyal to Q107 because for a while (when Y108 was playing club music), they were the only station playing the good stuff.

Kim is a DJ at the Q, as everyone knows. Would one not expect some extraordinary promotion of the new recording? KM is a tunesmith. He's done fairly well in the Canadian music business. You can't really knock him, except for "Patio Lanterns" of course. He's written some really good songs, though I'm not a fan per se.

I have no problem promoting Canadian artists but Q107's promotion of KM's album is much more persistent than the promotion of Rush's new album (which from what I've heard from KM's so far, was much better).

I actually changed the dial to Y108 after the 200th plug for KM's album this morning. No more Auntie Mo, Kim Mitchell or Q107 for me.

z103.5 was a dance music station in the 90s. they pissed off the dance music community when they switch to a top 40 hip hop trash format. on wednesday on thier way back playback they play the same songs over and over
