Hello, gentlemen. Seems that ol' Mel finds himself off to the Dominican Republic come Friday. Just curious if anyone on this board has sampled the escorts or massage gals there? Any advice on prices, safety issues, etc. would be most appreciated.

last time i was in the dominican the massage tent was located just before the beach past the pool and it was more of a gazebo than a tent. i did get some info from the guy at the cigar shop. he said for $50 i could get a girl for the night, the whole night. too bad i was leaving in the morning and had already spent my $$. if i had spoken to this guy sooner...

While I was in the D.R. I befriended the bartenders and they gave me a wealth of info. I stayed at a nice resort with a buddy of mine. The bartender had a book of girls. Although none were really hot, we decided to partake. I spent $80 USD and a $20 tip for the bartender. She stayed over 2 hrs and I had to beg her to leave. I'm glad I got to see her towards the end of my trip as it turns out that she works at the hotel.

All you have to do is get out and walk around the town. If you don't have 10 guys a day say "hey mister, want to meet my sister" you are doing something wrong.

Hotels charge hotel prices which are way way way over the local rates. On the street, a "good time" can be had for $25 USD, although the girls seem to always start at $100 USD. You should be able to find someone to spend the night for less than $100 USD.

If you are decent looking, you should be able to get laid for free in the hotel from an other guest.

Take your own condoms and use them. DR is on the same island as Haiti.
