Upscale department stores
Higher end casinos (i.e. with bathroom attendant)

Acceptable:

Movie theaters
Airports
Full service restaurants
Future Shop, Best Buy, etc.

Emergency Only:

Fast food restaurants
Zellers, Wal-Mart, etc.
Mall restrooms

AVOID!

Gas stations
Strip joints

Anything on TTC property. Up there with the old Loco.

Some SCs do better than others:

Good:
-HOL Queensway (Food seems safe as well.)
-Filmore's
-Club Paradise
-'Airport or Landing?' Strip (Just south of MDS, good food there as well)
-Most places that aspire to highenishness
-Most places with a pee tax collector (Save HOL Bloor or Fairbanks)
-Most places that haven't had any customers yet that day

Things fall off pretty quick from there.

McDonalds generally have very clean restrooms. I travel alot and I cannot remember an instance where I stopped in to drop the kids off at the pool that the facilities weren't spotlessly clean.

I'll second the McDonalds . TH is right behind them. I do a lot of traveling and those are my first 2 choices when in need. Years ago McD was a place to avoid but generally they keep up on things pretty good these days.

Four Seasons in Yorkville has one of the best washrooms you'll ever see. Next to Truffles. I frequently drop in for a "freshen up" after a morning joe.

MP washrooms are always bad news.
