So we all get busy with life and for those of us on long term or life long medications, we usually don’t think about re-checking our meds.

I went to the doctor for some stuff and did some blood work which started the process of looking into all my meds. Some may remember my other thread, but I take a lot of full time meds. For example, one med is 6 pills a day and is required. It is just how the dosage works. So I take a lot of pills plus most people know I have a medical marijuana script as well.

So now we are changing my meds, slowly of course and it looks like I can drop 2 meds, change 2, add one and I can probably stop the medical marijuana script. Which would be amazing. The medical marijuana is great but if I don’t have to have it anymore, I eliminate other issues like inhalation issues like inflammation. And let’s be real, the smell and the fear of explaining to police that it is medical, without THC. I don’t want to go through that. And the cost. It is not covered so it is all out of pocket. And LPs charge more then regular dispensaries.

So just a PSA - when on long term or life long meds, double check every once in a while. Not all require quarterly or yearly blood work. It’s kind of, if you’re fine it’s working. But sometimes, new meds come out that will help better or your levels do change.

So just a friendly reminder. 😎
