Ps2 mod chip

Does anyone know where I can pick up a ps2 mod chip and some games?? I just got a ps2 and want to get going with this. I was sick of paying so much for my x-box games. If you know someone preferably in the west end please post or pm me and have a merry christmas.

Did u guys get the mod chip for PS1? I did, in early 1999. Saved lots of money playing ripped games until Sony got smart to this in 2000 and wrote some code to detect the mod chip and disable the game! Now I can't play any PS1 games that r made after 2000!

I hope you don't want to connect to XBOX live anytime soon.

Built within XBOX live is a auth service that "probes" your machine for mod-chips upon connection.

If it detects any, your machine is banned via its unique serial ID.

A friend installed one in mine and I upgraded the hard drive from the 8G on that comes with it to a 120Gig!! [/i]

How do you upgrade the HD? Is this a regular HD or one for the X-Box?
