Those provincial borders checks are probably unconstitutional.

I drove through the Manitoba/Ontario border last week.

The OPP had the Trans Canada Hwy blocked, they flagged me into the parking lot of our Provincial Rest stop Park.

I was in no mood for another police interaction. Two masked men, wearing police costumes with guns approached my vehicle.

I think I pretty much told both of them to back away from my vehicle with their filthy bacterial filled face diapers.

One of them walks away. The other clown tells me that his boss wants to ask me some questions.

🤦‍♀️ whaaaaat? 😂 you must be stupid if you fall for that.

I got Ontario plates but it wouldn’t matter either way. (charter or rights, mobility)

The OPP is a business and I am a business.

My business is none of their business. 👍

I tell him I don’t feel like talking to any more retards, disguised strangers with guns, or evil people who intend to cause me harm.

He steps back a few feet, lowers his disguise, smiles and tells me he is from Toronto, puts his muzzle back on and comes back to my window.

The OPP has the place set up like their jail/detainment central. They try to look intimidating and I just laugh.

He tells me again; we just wanna ask you some questions cuz of this covid 19”.

I don’t feel like answering your questions, I just wanna go home. He keeps pressing me and telling me to pull over into a parking space.

I ask him if I’m being detained. He thinks about it for a second and says; yes you are being detained.

I pull into the parking spot and he goes to his boss. I come out of the car and let my dogs out.

Before my dogs even get the chance to pee he comes back towards me and say out loud; MAAM YOU ARE NOT BEING DETAINED, YOU ARE FREE TO GO.

Know your rights!

Nah TIME IS MONEY if they wanna have a chat with me they have to book an appointment and forward a deposit LIKE EVERY OTHER CLIENT.

Actually the OPP would have to prepay in full and my rates are different for them.

Yes, provincial border restrictions are in conflict with charter rights (freedom of movement), as are stay at home orders (association) , and limitation on gathering (assembly). But no charter rights are absolute. In fact the first clause says that there may be reasonable limitation of these charter rights. It could be argued that people thay flout pandemic restrictions that are designed to protect the public against infection, may be violating other citizens’ rights to “security of the person” and potentially to “life”.

You all know that story is pure fiction right?
"And then Brad Pitt showed up and gave me a high five.

Later I saw Morgan Freeman and we got drunk together. Some guy looked sideways at me and I punched his lights out

etc. etc."

I like my works of pure fiction to start with

"Dear Penthouse Forum:

I never thought it would happen to me...."

Or,,,
Then I woke up in the basement of a pawn shop with a ball gag in my mouth and bent over

Oh wait, that's pulp fiction.

My brain is not governed by the government like the majority of the Canadian population.

The government told you to poison and suffocate yourself and you are doing a fine job. Keep up the good work.

Did you miss the part where I said IM FROM ONTARIO RETURNING TO ONTARIO IN MY OWN VEHICLE.

That’s why we in this shit cuz 90% of the worlds population is dumb as a box of rocks.

Gestapo everywhere 🤦‍♀️
wasnt referring to your encounter. You clearly had a legit reason to cross the border, and clearly the opp agreed. You said that the provincial border checks were unconstitutional. I was replying to that. And what I said was true. Someone here might be dumb as rocks, it ain’t me tho.
