I got a bit of a.situation, I got hired by an employer who has asked me to submit a few documents to them which I did a week later, now I have not heard from them and it's been about 3 days, all our contact has been via email (except for interview of course) I'm getting nervous, do I send another message to make sure they received them or leave it a couple of more days? Any advice is appreciated.

Considering I recently had the same situation in which they stalled on their end then put blame on me, I'd call call call them. Even though I did so as well, it still didn't work out.

Call them to ask if they got the documents. That opens the way for them to say what is happening.

It is perfectly normal for the hiring process to go on for seemingly forever when dealing with a modern multi-national. It could be that someone senior from HQ needs to sign off on your paperwork, and everything is waiting on him returning from holidays.

Be patient.

CALL THEM!
For all the reasons already stated. If nothing else, it shows them that you are really interested and eager to get started ...

2 cousins of mine (oddly enough they are brother and sister) got burned by employers for something (not exactly like this) in the past.
Sucked eggs!
