* Alleged assault victim says he was knocked unconscious and needed brain scan
* Lady Amelia allegedly flicked cigarette butt into car in a rage
* Heiress was accompanied by one of her sisters during incident

Princess Diana's 18-year-old niece appeared in court today accused of flicking a cigarette at a man on crutches before kicking and hitting him.

Lady Amelia, who is the daughter of Diana’s brother Earl Spencer, arrived at court with her mother Victoria Spencer to answer a charge of common assault.

She allegedly carried out the attack with a male companion as they waited to buy burgers at a branch of McDonald’s in Cape Town, South Africa in December.

Official documents revealed that the young aristocrat has been formally accused of ‘flicking a cigarette butt' into a taxi, then ‘swearing, smacking and kicking’ the car’s passenger, Ricci Cinti.

It had previously been alleged that she launched into a foul-mouthed tirade and struck the vehicle during a fracas at 2.30am on December 29.

She was accompanied by one of her sisters – either her twin Lady Eliza or former Tatler cover girl Lady Kitty Spencer, 20 – and two men.

The heiress may have been celebrating her elder sister’s birthday. Lady Kitty Spencer turned 20 on December 28.

According to reports, the teenager flew into a rage when Mr Cinti’s taxi cut in front of a Mini Cooper at a drive-through branch of the burger chain in Cape Town.

Mr Cinti, 27, who was on crutches following a football injury, claims Lady Amelia swore at him and smacked his taxi. He alleges that he was pulled out of the car and knocked to the ground.

Lady Victoria Spencer arrived with her daughter for the hearing at the Magistrates Court in Cape Town

The self-employed machinist, who lives in Cape Town, said he was knocked out and suffered a swollen jaw in the assault, which led to him undergoing a brain scan.

Lady Amelia and her male companion apparently sped off but police traced the car and arrested her for assault.

The pretty heiress was dressed in black leggings, a black top and a grey cardigan for the hearing at Cape Town Magistrates' Court, which had been adjourned following a court date last month.

Lady Amelia is the daughter of Princess Diana's brother Earl Spencer and will one day share in his £100million fortune

Outside court, Mr Booth said Lady Amelia barely knows the companion accused of helping her in the assault. He was a ‘friend of a friend’ known only as John.

‘There may have been some rowdy behaviour on the part of a number of people,’ he admitted.

‘It seems the main proponent was this other guy referred to only as John. He had got a lift in the car my client was travelling in but my client certainly does not know him well.’

Police spokesman November Filander said: ‘The detectives didn’t get hold of the guy. They only know his name, not his address. They are busy looking for him. There were four people in the car: Amelia, one of her sisters and two men.’

Earl Spencer, 46, is believed to have stayed in Britain as his daughter appeared in court last month. He has claimed she was merely acting in self-defence after being bruised in the melee.

Lady Amelia, who will one day share in his £100million fortune, was brought up in the exclusive Constantia area of Cape Town by her mother, a former model, after an acrimonious split from Earl Spencer.

The case continues.

I would fuck Lady Amelia and - it goes without saying - also her twin sister. I would also do a 4-way with both girls and their bitchy-looking, hot milf mother.

It will not be long before Aardvark appears to defend the Royals.

She's hot. Nice body. I do have a weakness for hot blonde 18's though, so I'm not impartial lol.

Funny how an heiress to a $200 million fortune eats burgers at McDonalds at 2am.

Also funny how an heiress would get into a melee with a cab driver on crutches over who was in the drive through line first. I want those cheeseburgers and want them now, damn it.

Dunno. She looks like somebody from the Essex.

LOL. She just acquired the eating habits, "addiction" for some from the Yankees.

Or being stingy/austere is in vogue lately.

Hmm...can I say she's suffering from the real Princess complex??

BTW, I cannot stress enough the beauty of having serious money in MCD and PM/BTI.

Two words: Noblesse oblige

She may be an aristocrat, but her behaviour certainly isn’t that of one, and she certainly isn't royalty.
True. While good behaviour one would think would be part of an aristocrats upbringing/training, this girl seems to have missed the finishing school lessons on restraint and noblesse oblige.

I was driving to a lunch appointment at a boutique hotel in Florida a couple of weeks ago. I am on a side street about to make a left into the valet parking location by the door. I have my flicker on. The only oncoming vehicle is a cab in the distance. I have time to turn, so I move forward and just as I do he increases his speed dramatically, so I decide to let him pass by me before turning in. Instead he brakes hard and turns in to the hotel with no signal. I then turn in behind him. Since we both know this hotel only has one spot for a car to load/unload, he wanted to get to it before me, hence his ruse of speeding up and not signaling to prevent me from turning in first. Now I was late for lunch, and due to his move I had to sit for 7 minutes behind him while he unloaded luggage, etc, got paid, and left so I could advance into the spot and valet my car. I know he did this on purpose as he went out of his way to avoid all eye contact with me while I was waiting behind him. I was annoyed and thought him a wanker. However, while not an aristocrat, I do well for myself, am fit, and was driving a luxury car. He was overweight and driving a minivan, I said nothing. Yes, I was annoyed at him, and said to myself "What a wanker that guy is" but I'm not going to get out and yell at him, or hit him. Forget the legalities for a minute (most people hot under the collar do lol) - how would it look for a well to do guy in luxury car to walk over and yell at or hit an overweight minicab driver for sneaking in front of him to the parking valet? I would have been the one who looked like the wanker to the valet guy as well as everyone else in front of the hotel. I'm driving the 100k car, in a suit, going to eat lobster for lunch. The guy is a jerk, fine, just because he is going to cut me off doesn't mean I'm going to sink to his level and act like a jerk back.

Lady Amelia failed to learn that acting like an aristocrat means not sinking to the level of those who act like wankers when they act like wankers. Maybe the cab cut her off to beat her to the line, but does an aristocrat kick a cabbie on crutches for cutting in line at McDonald's? No. Plain and simple, no. An Essex Girl might. Lady Amelia does, but that is why we have this article in the paper. If another cab driver kicked the victim it would never have made the papers. If an Essex Girl hit the cabbie, no one would have been surprised as well, Essex Girls do things like that. It made the papers because aristocrats are not supposed to act like that. Maybe she's learned a lesson now in court and/or the papers that she missed in finishing school. Noblesse oblige.

It's "out of character" since if I am not mistaken, White South Africans usually carry their sidearms all the time for self-defense when they are out to do whatever errands. No?

Hopefully, there is an internet sex tape involving both sisters, the milf-mom and several horny guys in the near future.

I'm guessing that being caught at a McDonalds is more shocking to the Royal Family than assaulting one of the commoners.
I rather doubt it.

Besides which how many here consider their "walking disaster brother-in-law's" children to be part of your family, rather than one of your wife's relatives?
