Can you bid on flights, Toronto to Vancouver, using Priceline? or another travel site?
Yes.

But Priceline, IME, is not as good for flights. The priceline price, IME, won't save you much, imo, and you don't know the airline or the times, etc. Not worth it for me.

For flights, I would recommend the airlines' website.

For information on airfares, use itasoftware.com.

No.

You can only bid when you are departing from a US airport

This is correct. I recently found this out the hard way. It must be departing from a U.S. airport only for flights booked threw priceline. I got "stumped" trying to get to Montreal a few weeks ago....but I like Flight Center so all was good. :)

I look in to going to Montreal, the cheapest way if you are flying out of the USA is to fly in to Burlington VT and rent a car at the airport--or take a charter bus. Its about a 1 hour drive north, not too far at all. You will need to pass though customs on land but should not be much different than the airport customs.

My prices were a few hundred (think four hundred) cheaper than flying in to Montreal.
