in this day and age minimum multilevel authentication. Just password is asking for trouble. Especially to email as that is one of the authentication methods.

I have a generic password for all my stupid shit like gaming etc. Long and involved but I remember it. I never post about things like street names, pet names etc. Or even list my high school etc.

I think a big thing is NFC entrapment and other things like this. Same as I never use my Debit card but always use CC as you have to recourse then. All these Apple Pay systems etc make theft easy imo.

There isn't much you can do about things if a third party gets hacked. I just don't give out banking I fo if possible, use CC, delete old links to financial info, password changes etc, and hope for the best.

Whch is best a passkey or password manager?
I don't think I'm the only one who is vastly confused about the differences between password / passkey / passcode. I'd say even experts don't agree how these terms are used interchangeably, stoking more confusion for everyone involved.

Regardless, passwords (or knowledge-based challenge) seem to be slowly going out of style anyway. Instead, we will be forced to rely more on our phones (possession-based challenge) and biometrics (inherence-based challenge), etc.

In the meantime, we can try making our passwords as complex as possible, etc., with the help of password managers.
