Well you know America don't ya.

I believe you spent two weeks a year down here.
24 years with 10 to 12 trip in the US i am sure i know the country better than you do. Nah let me be honest. I may know it better than you because of my Canadian views.

You were the best country on the fucking earth to do business.

The success got to all of your head and now you’re going down like shit.

It would have been better to share the wealth a bit better.

Election of Trump will simply sends the vast majority of US down the drain.

Good point.

It will also be interesting to see if Kamala immediately inherits Biden's big bushel of donor money raised to date.
Yeah all of this is about winning and nothing to improve the american people. The country is going down while all seems to think about is winning.

Fuck that…

Vance was specifically picked to shore up the Rust Belt.

He will have no appeal in California, New England and Ontario for that matter.
I'd say Vance was picked to bring in his wealthy patrons.
Not much reason to think he would shore up the rust belt.

Rumours swirling that it's a done deal that he'll step down, but won't endorse Harris.

BREAKING: Per
@MarkHalperin
, Biden will announce his withdrawal as soon as Sunday, followed by an OPEN Democrat convention between Kamala and three or more rivals. Biden will NOT endorse his VP and will NOT resign the presidency. This could be the wildest month in American political history.

BREAKING: President Biden has reportedly agreed to step down, and a speech has been written. He will also not endorse Kamala Harris for President, according to multiple Democratic sources, political analyst Mark Halperin claims—no official confirmation from Biden or the White House. WATCH
Interesting to see how hard the "He will definitely NOT endorse Harris" line was being pushed.

I don't think so. Only because VP's don't significantly change Presidential races.

Whitmer has been thrown around as a VP on a Harris-Whitmer ticket. It would be an interesting pairing to say the least.
Just wait. The ride isn't over on the Democrat Scrambler! Biden will probably be Harris' VP nominee!

Anyone with real presidential aspirations is going to take a hard pass imo.

But Harris ain't there yet. Pelosi will decide this with the donors. And the Obama endorsement.

I'm not a big believer that more and more money wins Presidential elections. I think every Democratic and Republican nominee in recent history has had plenty of money to get their message out.

I'm guessing Governor Youngkin as a former CEO of The Carlysle Group has plenty of rich friends.

I don't know who the Democratic nominee will be and how this will go down with donors. Let's just say that in a normal Presidential election both candidates are oversubscribed.

It's never as simple as "more money wins".
But you do need to have the money coming in, and Trump was not doing so great there.

But it is also who donates and what kind of access they think they can get.

Vance is Silicon Valley money - Musk and Thiel.
Trump seems to want that more than old business money because he gets along with them better.

The big money donors on the Dem side are going to have to decide if they are ok with Harris or not.
The ones who had big dreams of putting in their own choice seem to have not anticipated the push back supporting her.
They know they can take down someone late in the game now, though, and might try to push anyway.
Or they might decide this will do and save ammo for later.

I really don't know.

Its amazing that people actually think Harris would have a shot against Trump. If she is the candidate she is running on a dismal track record for her administration. Not to mention the fact that she's incompetent.
In the first debate all Trump would have to do is call her out on her hypocrisy of calling Biden a racist during the primary then accepting the VP ticket.
