I have always preferred to post something personal, something that tells you, the reader, a little about who I am. Unfortunately sometimes this isn’t the most practical as it’s difficult to provide the information you need in order to arrange a date.
Here’s a brief what’s new for the fall.
• Sept. 27th will be my last availability at the condo in Markham. I will continue to host in Markham should you request it but this will depend on hotel availability and can be a little limiting. I do appreciate your understanding when trying to make arrangements.
• Halifax – I will be in Halifax from Sept. 28-Oct. 2, if you would like connect during my visit please contact me.
• Travel – I have decided to travel more this year and am hoping to visit one city each month. If you live in a major city in Canada or the US and believe I would enjoy a visit and as well as the opportunity to spend time with you please send me a message.
In addition I would like to post a reminder that I do not accept date requests via text message. I prefer to open a dialog before we meet; this allows you the opportunity to get to know me as well as providing me a little insight into who you are and your expectations. I believe this knowledge is essential in arranging a date as I do not wish for either of us to spend our valuable time and money on something we are not enjoying. I find text message to be rather limiting in these exchanges as the medium lends itself to brief sentences and incomplete thoughts.
My preference has always been for email in initial exchange as I can provide the greatest amount of information in the shortest amount of time as well as allowing the opportunity to review the information before responding. I do understand email is not practical for everyone and try to be available by phone should you prefer a call.
