Something a little different, but no less important. So is this deal, potentially, Harper's version of the National Energy Policy?

Is it true that BHP offered a $300million "bride" to the Saskatchewan government? Or, did the Saskatchewan government demand a $300million bride? BTW Potash is currently 52% owned by foreigners.

they aren't a "have not" province.
LOL, but you forget to mention Cameco.

BTW, I am tempting to short POT, counting the deal is going to collapse and would not be surprised the POT share price is going to be collapsed and back to less than $100.

Never bet against the Saskatchewan government. Some people are taking their profits in POT and buying Agrium.
LOL, not interested in POT or AGU since I am holding another ag stock listed in NYSE for years.

Regrettably I should make up my mind and take the risk to buy CCO when BHP placed a hostile bid. It's too expensive to invest in CCO now.

WRT the Saskatchewan government, let see what are they going to do when Harpo does nothing to block BHP. Are they going to hand in their 14 seats to the Liberals?
