Here's my theory:

Most mammals are instinctive. Think of why a dog loves to chase a ball, or many other fast moving objects. It's instinct from way back when dogs were wild and had to chase their prey and catch it in order to eat.

Obviously humans have instincts too, many carried from way back in the caveman days.

Consider the caveman having sex with the cavewoman in ancient times in the back of their cave. (probably doggy style). There is no door protecting the opening to the cave.

So as soon as the caveman came he had to run to the front of the cave to protect his family from the odd left-over dinosaur or sabre-tooth tiger that might be lurking just outside the cave. Protective instinct!

So when I used to have sex in my home with my girlfriends or ex-wives, as soon as I came instinct made me run to the kitchen to save my family from the Oreo cookies and glass of milk that might attack them!!
