Canada will always be easy pickings unless we have some zero tolerance for repeat offenders AND some sort of self-defence/castle laws that won’t involve $1000’s in legal fees and court.

Until then… unclear/ambiguous “self-defence” law… and insurance companies that will do what they can NOT to reimburse you!!

These arrests will put a dent in tourism. Think of all the money that pumps into the local economy. Now they will be shipped back to Monte Carlo or Grand Cayman, and take their hard earned dollars with them.
