I see how in the advertiings sections, you've tried to get the advertisers to re-post in their existing thread to cut down on the amount wasted threads.

Could you please do the same type of thing in here?

I'm tired of people congratulating themselves or others on their number of posts, nobody cares, please delete all these, they serve no purpose, only clog up the board.

When somebody comes back from being banned, or at any time really, is it necessary to have six different threads about it, with only the same people talking in each thread, one will do. If someone starts a thread about Ray, why does someone else start one, why not post in the same one?

Please please delete these mundane 'Ask a' threads, other than the original one, nobody cares about the rest of them.

I see no reason to have threads on the same topic at once.

I like to laugh at funny shit too, but the unecessary threads are getting carried away IMO. Also the threads that get taken over and turned into puns is old, if that happens, can you please delete the puns at least, I've done it myself in the past.

I'd like to see the interesting threads get more of a chance than the stupid ones.

I realize this isn't moderated 24/7, but do what you can please.

Who decides what is interesting and what is not? Everyone has their own interests and what you find interesting may not be someone else's cup of tee, and vice versa... simply skip those threads. Simple. :rolleyes:

Have you seen that work out well for TERB mods?

In all honesty, by posting this thread in the public like this all you have successfully done is create the awareness that this bugs you and people are going to do it a little more now.

You should have just PMed this request to a mod.

Either way, nothing is going to be done about it. I would suggest finding a new way to deal with your pet peeve.

I realize they have a tough job, they can't delete an advertisers thread, but they can in here, delete repetative and unecessary threads, thats all.

I guess I logged on, saw some intereting stuff, then came across another 'ask a' thread and someone else congratulating himself on his post count, and said to myself, 'why is this stuff on here?' Nobody cares.

You'd be surprised the number of terbites who do care:) . Personally I try to read most of the threads posted in the lounge ranging from the obscure and hilarious to the serious and informative.

IMHO that's what makes terb such a great site and why I am so addicted to it. If all the lounge threads were too serious then I would get bored very easily.

Some of the threads that I read on terb are so funny that I can't stop laughing. Some of the pictures that some terbites post are so f****** funny.

I think the mods shouldn't change a thing. As usual just my opinion!

Things are getting rediculously overdone lately and beaten to death even more so than usual, seems to be more of a competition now. There's enough entertainment on here without completely overdoing it.

The ask a hooker thread was original, entertaining, and interesting, the rest were not and wasted space, trying to copy a great idea is lame.

I for one, appreciate the "free-anything-goes" atmosphere of the moderation in the lounge. Other message boards are downright fascist compared to this one.

The only thing that bugs me is how all bball teams are discussed in the "raptors" thread. Non-Raps stuff in the Raps thread = OFF TOPIC! Wish that was moderated.
