I am for physical distancing and safety precautions in place in line with public health guidance. It's for societal good. I only hope that the "new" experience is reflected in a lower fee per play.2 meters between customer and dancer for private dances and the dancer will wear a full face mask.
I was joking by trying to imagine a lap dance at 2 meters with a girl you can't even see the face. Not much fun with that.
I do understand the physical distancing and mask things and agree, it's just not really compatible with strippers and other "exotic" encounters. I don't know how a place like Playmate could make it work and make money, considering it was already hard to understand how they stayed afloat before the pandemic.
No but had a conversation with one of the talent. Apparently distance is being enforced. Table dances. Even private dances seem to be off limits or at least enforced for no contact. Masks at all times as well.
I'm staying away. I appreciate they are taking the proper steps for a closed, non-ventilated area, but I need more.

I'm with Nesbot.......but I feel kind of bad about this. Theoretically I'd like to support the venue and was hoping to be able to do that by the end of the summer. Now (7/22) we seem to have a slight upsurge in cases locally and I'm guessing things will have to be a lot more stable before many of us will feel comfortable attending. While it's unfortunate not to be able to support the venue and the dancers, I'm not sure that a masked, 2 meter experience is going to be a lot of fun.
Maybe I'll drop in for a drink at some point just to see who is there and to try to show some interest in the club's continued operation. I know one patron's visit won't make any appreciable difference, but if we all think that way........
Would be interested to hear any reports re the current atmosphere.
This whole situation is just such a drag.
Was there yesterday, 5 till 6, no girls but they only opened at 4. Apparently they had seven the previous night. Distancing and rules as described. No contact but they are still going upstairs. New hours for now are: Mon. Tues. & Sat. Four to close. Rest of the week 11:30 to close. Sun closed.

All those places are still doing stage shows though right? If all you're interested in is seeing some nakedness it's not a bad choice.
I agree with you. But unless you're watching nakedness but buying 10 to 20 drinks to go with it, you're not helping the club or the dancers. Only way to help the dancers is getting dances and nobody want to do that now.
I stopped in today in the afternoon, ghost town. 1 dancer.
Tried that once. It costed me more for 30 minutes on a couch there versus 1h on a bed at an incall. Services were below incall levels also. Once done, I to had to clean-up with typical commercial hand towel versus cloth towel. Of course, showers are non-existant. On top of the girl's services, I had to pay the cubicule and the condom, both taxable. Will I try again? No way, unless the girl is so horny she want to do it for free. Even then, I'd take her out to a motel instead.
Went to the Playmate last Saturday from 5-7 pm. Only 2 dancers, Adora and one other. Had a nice session with Adora, fuĺl contact dance was allowed, we both wore masks and every 2nd booth was taped off. Adora said the full contact dances are allowed, no issues from manager Jazmine who was there. There was maybe 10 people at the club and a few more came in just before I left. Not sure which girls would be coming in for night shift. My preference is to go at normally less busy times to reduce the risk.
Thanks for the report, alpharise. Take it that patrons sat at tables 'unmasked' (but distanced) to facilitate sipping their beverages - but masked up when entering the CR? Or when approaching or being approached by a dancer? Suprised to hear that there were 10 people in the club but only 2 dancers, but not surprised to learn that Adora was one of the dancers. My expectation has been that Adora, (daytime) Ashley and Delicious might be the ones to return relatively early, The wearing of masks perhaps would not play in favour of one of Adora's best-known CR characteristics, but it's interesting to know how the club is handling the current disruption.
Edit: News today (7/31) suggests that as of August 7, in Ontario bars (and restos) will be obliged to collect 'contact' info and retain this for a month. Also, effective immediately, patrons in these establishments will be required to remain seated more or less all the time.

It's not a perfect method and more than likely, some unscrupulous business owners will use it to spam people but, the alternative is one possibly infected person who called himself "Santa Claus" won't know they were possibly infected and might spread the virus around, with no way to find the source and stop it before it spreads more.
If I don't trust the business I deal with to keep my name and phone number private, I simply won't deal with them anymore.
If you can't risk people knowing you've been in a strip club, don't go for now but, don't give bogus info if you are asked who you are and your phone number. If you do, it creates a safety risk for other people.
and that's the reason I don't give out my true name and number, I appreciate my phone and my privacy and don't need others getting my private number and spamming me and getting robo calls at all times of the night. They say my information is protected, oh really, where's the guarantee on that ? Put that in writing
Reputable and Strip Club really dont belong in the same sentence, not a place I'd share my info with
I have a "secondary" number I use for this sort of stuff. It's not like they're checking ID when I provide my name - as long as I'm providing a valid number that I check, I'm making myself sufficiently traceable in case I get exposed.
