the first time I tried a piece of pizza from Brooklyn I never forgot that thin crispy tomato cheesed slice lol and as I searched for once back to Canada it was one of my highlights visiting my aunt in Brooklyn not to mention the guy running down the street with a old 80s tv to his double parked car LOL I remember telling the staff ill have a slice and a pop and her New York accent said what pop? yr want a soda instead

Apart from the village pizza in Santa Domenico, this is probably the best pizza I ever tasted. I phoned ahead and stopped by on the drive back to TO. Now I'm wondering if the old paisan is still alive?

I'm going downtown next week making a stop at North of Brooklyn, I'm going to ask them to make me a Roman Margerita. One similarity between Napolitan and Roman, the aromatic is put on fresh after the pizza is cooked. With Napolitan it's basil, with Roman it's arugula.
Roman isn't very popular in NYC, more so in Chicago and Detroit. They give it various names. I've never seen Brian Urlacher so calm.

The Great Bonci makes a Roman/California foccacia from scratch. California is the capital of mortadella in the USA. The ingredients are: habanero cheddar sauce, mortadella, tongue, pickles.

North of Brooklyn is by far the best in TO.
Fave is the Margherita with Caramelized Onions. 2nd is the NY Cheese Dave had in the video. This place is ridiculous small with only two tables. Best for take out and takes like 40-50mins. Just order on mobile app and they will text you automatically when it’s ready to pick up. Place looks legit inside and very busy with pizzas in the oven you can see.
