all good reccomendations but...
By the airport theres nothing really comparable to some of the downtown choices, but theres always The Keg, Le Bifteck and Topiary's-the unfortunate thing is you get the convention and old fart guy on business atomosphere..

Le Biftheque on Carlson Court is good. There is an amazing place on Dundas, near 427 (west of it). I can't remember the name - I want to say Excalibur for some reason - the place looks like a castle - but one of the best restaurants in the city.

I think your referring to "La Castile" with the flamming torches out front.

Le Biftheque is over-rated. All the pictures of horses on the walls made me wonder.

Stick with the Keg. If downtown, Ruth's-Chris.

La Castile has a bar which is cozy.

(reservations required, tie and jacket as well)
maybe back in the 70's lol , I was there last year in the late afternoon and walked in with simply dress pants and a sweater.I don't think there to strict with the dress code nowadays.

I always wondered how Ambrosia has stayed alive?it used to be quite good years ago...I have'nt been in there in years!

anyplace that keeps their Xmas lights up year round has to make you wonder! ...shit they even had the plastic Frosty the snowman up there in the summer! lmao

btw for those who don't know, Ambrosia is another "fine dinning?" restraunt across the street from LaCastile

Hey

Hy's

Enough said!

You could always entertain him in the back of a limo on the way back to the airport location (I'm thinking "No Way Out!)

In fact, now that I think about it, what do you charge for a steak and desert event - perhaps on my next visit.....

PM me..
