I know the mileage and cost might not beat Toronto, but just looking fill the evening schedule.

There is a member called "Dave in Phoenix" (pretty sure that's it). He is enamoured of the T.O. Scene but has given advice about his neck of the woods in the past. Try searching for him and PM him.
