Philippines advice?

Thinking of booking a trip to the Phillipines soon. Which cities do you recommend? I'm thinking Manila and Angeles City.

Any advice or recommendations would be appreciated.

I heard the food is not good, and it's more run down than Thailand, but it's easy to pick up girls.

Angeles City would be their equivalent of Thailand's Pattaya and is a must stay. There is even a similar Walking Street in Angeles City with all the bars. There is also a scene in Manila too but it's spread out. During my only night in Manila (to facilitate my air travel) I took a girl from a freelance bar called LA Cafe - do YouTube search. If you are a scuba diver, south of Manila in a town called Puerto Galera is good too with good diving and its own monger scene there. Although a much smaller scene there, it will be enough for a dive stay.

Many beautiful young Filipinas but be careful if it's too good to be true it probably is, easy to get scammed.

Just be wary of scammers...there are a lot of nice looking women down to fuck in bars but for every good chick there is an equivalent 1 ready to scam you...LA Cafe is nice but most women prefer caucasians over other foreigners (middle east, indians and asians). I haven't been to Angeles City for ages but they used to be good. Ladyboys aren't widely accepted yet in the Philippines but they have a few....or fewer than thailand at least...and from what i heard...they will tell you upfront if they are...Palawan is good (expensive)...if I have to pick a place though...Cebu is where I will go.

Angeles used to be really fun...most ladies 19 or older have real jobs during the day or go to colleges and still moonlights at night to work in KTV bars...it's like almost a way of life for women in Angeles city...best to connect with bartenders too.

You still need some game if picking up in a mall or normal bar especially if non-pro. The bars in Angeles City are the safest in the sense that the girls there work for the bars and the management is a way to ensure that you won't get ripped off since the girls are not freelancers there.
