I have Pet Plan, basic coverage that's just under 30.00 monthly. It's worth it imo but it doesn't cover standard procedures obviously.

Yes get it as you never know when you need it. MY friends dog has health issues and get 90% of their money back.

If your dogs over a certain age it's really not worth it, if you can get it at all. Our's are ages 8-10 and there was a tonne of hoops to jump through.

I have. My doggie had a surgery last week and they clean their teeth too. The bill was 1k and I got 880$ back. I pay 64$ every month and he didn't have health problem before. So I paid around 3500 $ in the past years and I got back 880$ but don't forget my dog is young with less health problem. So the first years you lost money but when he become older you will be ok. Otherwise do the lifetime insurance with fixed rate. If you do flexible rate you can pay easily 300$ insurance a month when your dog hit its golden ages. Otherwise you don't really feel this 64$ payment every month but maybe if you get a 2500$ bill from your vet or your dog need special treatment in rest of his life every week, you can find yourself easily in a financial trouble.not all dog owner is a rich people. Many of them live check to check all year. So I think it worth it. :)

I have it and just upgraded it to a gold level and it helps me to sleep better. Let's face it, if your pet is taken into emerg for diagnositics the tab will be approx $2000. I just upgraded to $10,000. i have had my pets in for the diagnostics on several occasions so it pays for itself. Then there are the minor surgeries. But my plan omitted dental along time ago and i would be interested in knowing which plan still provides teeth cleaning because that costs 550.

I have a simple plan with a company called Embrace. Just under $11 a month gives me $10,000 coverage. I have to cover 10% of costs. Basically I don't have to put Fido down because of an $9,000 procedure. It's catastrophic coverage with nothing extra covered. I pay the yearly visits and teeth cleaning. A Peace of mind knowing that I can cover most major vet bills for around $130 a year plus the 10%.
