Perfume, Cologne .... 'How to Apply' Lessons

Do some people really need lessons on how to apply fragrances ?


Apparently so. I was sitting beside a women who had a nice fragrance, but it was far too over powering to the point of nauseating.

Wife's sons always splash on waaaay too much cologne. We can smell them for 10 minutes or more after they leave.
I cannot tell you the number of times I am near someone who 'spilled' the bottle on themselves.



Maybe these fragrances need to be sold with instructions on how to apply.

dabbing a little in strategic places is a nice idea .... wrist, back of the knee, back of the neck, ... less is most certainly more when it comes to fragrance.

I completely agree!! Unfortunately, advertisers suggest (and some women and men buy into it) that more is better. Those ads where the lady turns heads because of the 'waft' of her scent as she passes by them... And as spraggamuffin mentioned those Axe commercials suggesting that guys who spray the whole can of the stuff can attract women...

I wish they would ban all perfumes from SC's. I had one girl that just asked me for a dance and walked off. My eyes were watering and I could swear the stench was on my clothing long after I left the place.

Not if you are one of the people with a severe sensitivity to perfume/cologne. B.O. may be stomach turning, but rarely induces flash migraines.

Cigarette smoke should be included in that. People blowing nasty second hand smoke into the paths of pedestrians should just always be smacked in the back of the head by everyone who is unfortunate enough to have to smell and breathe that shit (punched in the face if they are smoking around children).

I believe that in the middle ages - bathes and grooming was almost none existent so strong perfumes were popular. Assuming that one has bathed regularly, there is no excuse for tear generating levels some girls use. Maybe a few are smokers whose olfactory glans are permanently damaged.

If you were to spray one small mist and walk into it - it would be enough for me. I like the hint of an exotic aroma as a hold a beautiful female as opposed to getting maced with an noxious chemical so strong I have nightmares two weeks later.
