In East Asia I can see that it might be. Somehow in North America I think it's going to be a specialty market product.

I say no. But it's not because of the flavour, which could be interesting.

The problem, IMO, is these alternate flavors of coke & pepsi (i.e. vanilla coke, wild cherry pepsi, etc.) never seem to work. Consumers only understand Coke/Pepsi, or something else (i.e. Fanta).

I think Pepsi would be better off putting this kind of flavour under a different brand. For example, Coca-Cola sells orange juice through Minute Maid, which it owns.
