Any fans of this show?
I haven't seen it yet but it's fronted by Eva Green and Timothy Dalton, my interest is piqued.
After Pierce Brosnan replaced Dalton as James Bond there was a severe drop off in quality. Dalton only made two films (The Living Daylights, License to Kill) but there are both wonderful. He gave Bond a gravitas matched only my Patrick Stewart in Star Trek. And they are both Royal Shakespeare Company alumni. Dalton quit over creative differences.
And this show is a home grown product made by Take5. A company that sprang from a grant by the Ontario Government. Take5 is building an impressive list of shows: The Tudors, The Borgias, Vikings and now Penny Dreadful.
