Long-term lurker, couldn't find a thread on this via search, so apologies if I missed; does anyone use PayPal to reimburse for services? I came into some $ via a football pool and prefer not to give PayPal my bank account # to transfer it. Would be curious if any indies or agencies accept transfers. I know in the US, PP will cut you a check, but not so here.

You can get a Paypal CC linked to your account and use it to withdraw cash at an ABM.

Well, was hoping not to go through trouble of applying for a new card either. Any SP or agency can PM me if they don't want to advertise this and add a client (screening and etc of course)

Is your concern with PayPal knowing your account, or in hiding the money somehow? If you are worried about PP, then you are in the minority of bazillions of people that use it everyday. I would be more concerned that if you are transferring money to an agency/indy from a PayPal account, then your full name will be revealed. I think your "worrying" is misplaced.

(I am assuming that the only reason PayPal is even involved is because that's how you received the money).

If you're concerned about hiding the money, keep it in a sock under your mattress... ain't like you're earning any interest on it these days.

Unless its over $10,000, the banks will pay little attention to it.

If its less than that, have it transferred into your account.
