Okay, follow up question.
Can you get a simple no-contract pay as you go sim here like they have overseas?

Hey thanks.

I was not aware of tlhem, looks like what I need.
Have you used them and can recommend?
I just use it as my burner phone to support my secret ulter identity. No problems setting it up. You can even just walk into a 711 and pay cash for it. Since it was my secret MPA agent phone I did not dare put the SIM in my real phone :p however I imagine it should work . I swap SIMs all the time when traveling and had no issues thus far. I alsobhave a SIM cutter. However if traveling you need to make sure your frequency band is supported so the frequency being emitted by a particular carrier is compatible . Many phones have world coverage however some places have iffy systems. Only place I could not get it to work properly was cuba like 6 years ago. It is not always as easy as plug and play, most of the time it is but it helps to do a bit of research before hand yourself ;)

I tried inserting the SIM card from my 7/11 phone to my iPhone and the damn card is physically too large to fit the iPhone.

But once I cut the card to insert in the iPhone, how do I insert it back in the 7/11 phone again? I know you mentioned something about getting an adapter.

LOL....not everyone is tech savvy Mr. Melllennia. If you're not comfortable cutting your sim, just look it up on kijiji....lots of kids will cut it for you for $2 and another $1 for the sim tray...if you need one.

What is there to be comfortable with??? You just put it in the device, press and sim is cut. Easy peasy. Its like a little stapler. I would strongly advise against someone from kijiji doing it. Really why do that? IMO this is bad advice, however do as you please its your choice in the end.

BTW ...when the answer is starring you in the face....i.e. SIM adapter. you are just looking to be spoon fed the answers. I have no issues with old people. I think some of them are really cool people and not jaded by life. However if you want all the answers handed to you then there we have some issues. I like helping. I like receiving it and I ask for opinions on terb many times and I like assisting to build a community of like minded hobbyists. However I also do my research as much as I can in addition to opinions.

P.S...This is not about being old. That was just a fucking joke Mr. Sensitive. I think its more about being lazy.

I can't be all bad. I, with the help of Youtube and a friend, fixed my Samsung TV for $2.26.

I cut the SIM card to fit the iPhone but wasn't aware of the adapter to put it back in the 7/11 phone. If everybody on the Board knew everything about everything then we wouldn't need TERB.
