Pancreatic Cancer is usually a death sentence.

I'm amazed he's lasted a year. My mother died of Pancreatic Cancer, it took less than 3 months from the time she was diagnosed.

Cancer scares the shit out of me. Ever since I have been exposed to it first hand, I feel incredible trepidation whenever I hear the word, or someone I know has it.

It is truly the plague of our time.

I often times am amazed at how worked up people get about AIDS (not that I am belittling it) when realistically, you should be far more concerned about getting cancer, but people just write it off as one of those things.

Sorry about your loss..I lost my stepdad to kidney cancer, he was 56.
