Just watched the first episode in CNN. Factoid that blew my mind. They showed the fishing grounds outside Argentinian coastal waters. 150 squid fishing ships. 450 feet in length. Dazzling lights to lure the squids to the surface from a depth of 2500 feet. Only to be caught up in nets and harvested. 7500 tons a night. Each ship. 365 days a year. For years. They have supply ships to offload the catch and take it away. Refuel and resupply the fishing ships.
The commander of the Argentinian Coast Guard ship said that when they finally fish it dry, they will move on to some other country's fishing grounds.
