Investigations are underway on how come two uninvited guests aspiring to become reality show stars were able to attend President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama’s first state dinner for India Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. The gatecrasher couple was able to penetrate and pass through layers of security without invitation. They later posted their pictures at the dinner in their Facebook account.obama-state-dinner-gatecrashers

Tareq and Michaele Salahi, who may have possible roles in the upcoming The Real Housewives of Washington, are known polo-playing socialites recently featured in a family feud regarding a Fauquier County winery. They were not invited, not included in the official guest list and were never seated in a table at the South Lawn test were the dinner was served.

The couple arrived at the middle of the event, was announced by a marine upon entry and went their way through photographers and reporters and posed for pictures with several guests.

Later, they posted these pictures in their Facebook account. They have posed alongside many well-known personalities topped by White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel and Vice President Joe Biden.

What type of nonsense is that? I find it hard to believe that if they were visible minorities that looked like they should have been there, that a smile and handshake would have gotten them through the doors.

We are in a state of paranoia and fear due to what the states have been shoving down our throats and this is the reality...that someone can walk into the presidents residence and drop a steaming loaf in his washroom.

These reality show contestants are out of control:(! Remember "Balloon Boy"?
John and Kate plus their 8 are now gone. BTW Whatever happened to Boston Rob and Amber? Did they live ever happily after? Curious minds want to know.

They got in because they were white, played the part and the blonde looked good for her age.

I wonder who was going to be looking for a new job on Monday? Makes you think doesn't it.

Instead of having them in jail, seems like they are looking for public opinion on this. Yet the states incarcerates people for "looking or sounding" suspicious all the time.

Between a rock and a hard place
They looked like they would blend in easily. Good for them. I'm sure they aren't the first. Just the first to brag.

Good for them? In order to get in they probably lied to Secret Service agents and/or other White House officials. Making a false statement to a federal agent is a felony for which they could possibly end up serving time.

I sure hope they're prosecuted so they can brag about it while they're someone's bitch in the jail. So sick of these reality tv idiots.

We don't know what the federal prosecutor will do with this case. I can guarantee you there will be charges filed if they lied to a federal agent (which is 99% likely what they did to get in).

In addition to the two posts above. The Salahi's went through the full U.S. Secret Service on site screening, which is very, very thorough so unless they were ninja assassins proficient at unarmed combat. . . and even then, the USSS Protective Detail is there even at State Dinners.

This is more egg on the face of the social side of things White House Staff then it was a true "security breach."

Really? Even at a State Dinner for the Prime Minister of India with Indian Americans all over the guest list.

If you are correct then what is with all the security and safety bullshit. I guess they (terrorist) did it all wrong with chemicals and arms, all that is needed is a pretty lady with you and you can reach anyone literally anywhere.

They take the "security and safety bullshit" extremely seriously. Yes the Salahi's evaded the background checks, but they had to go through the usual on site security measures just like everyone else.

Because most people don't realize they had to have gone through the protective detail and screening. The media knows this and is using that angle to generate traffic.

Do you mean that they were patted down for weapons and went through metal detectors.

The way "I" read it is they scammed their way in, just like you would in a nightclub, once at front of line you get checked and show id (if VIP you dont do any of that, you just wait then stroll in) then in you go.

This is a farce, no matter what angle i just cannot see how two anybodies could be able to get into the president of the United States house and be up and personal with high ranked individuals and no one knew any better until the individuals posted pictures on facebook.

There's no way they would be just let in. The security protocols for access to the POTUS are insane.

Did you know that when on foreign soil the President and a specific radius around him automatically falls under jurisdiction of the United States of America (albeit only temporarily).

That's probably why no one knew any better until afterwards because they assumed everyone present was suppose to be there.

There is no way for these reality tv show wannabes to embarass the secret service and trespass the White House to go free without consequences. People like them have to be stopped and punished.

Congratulations.

You just embarrassed and pissed off the most well trained force on the face of this planet.Secret Service does not change out like the president every 4 to 8 years. They're here to stay.

I would imagine it's going to be a running joke for the secret service to fuck with these folks for quite sometime in ways we can't even imagine. What a stupid, dangerous ,stunt.Although I'm not of the paranoid type, people who would do harm to the U.S likely have seen this story and thought"Hmm interesting"...Charge them and make them do time.

This whole reality TV( I mean the media whore type...i actually enjoy some of the positive ones), has gone too far.First the ballon kid, now this.Jail time. The message needs to get through to "aspiring" reality TV stars.
