People who do this sort of thing realize that the NDP will never come to power and would not implement those ideas, even if they did.

These folks just want to avoid paying ANY tax at all.

In actual fact, a lot of them are 3rd World heads of state who grift, skim, extort and scam until the next corrupt dictator drives them out. Those people need 15 or 25 multi million mansions in France or the Caribbean as a "retirement plan".

Most probably some with a little illegalities indeed. But I listened to an international fiscal expert yesterday and for him it is mostly tax evasion as oppose to tax fraud.

He also mention it shows how easily people can be immoral, unfair, shity and greedy.

What Canada looses each year is estimated at 15 billion. We could afford giving deserved housing to all people in need with that. Helping so many get better. Instead in a few years we will run scared walking our downtown's.

1. tax evasion is tax fraud. Tax avoidance is not.
2. most ppl on the list were from Ukraine, Russia, Nigeria etc. Nouveau riches have no time for little illegalities. They must do big ass illegalities to compensate for lack of old money/ inheritance etc etc. Canadians on the list may well have done less illegal stuff than politicians/businessmen from 3rd world countries.
