Awesome trip and the flight from Miami is very reasonable!

Bad news first: Shopping and food was not cheap. Also, if you drive yourself and the cops stop you on the first turn outside the airport, pay them $20 and they will wait 10 minutes before moving on (that's the way their system works).

Good news: There are casinos and bars at every corner. The escort-to-guy ratio was about 5-to-1. There is enough competition to keep them hungry for your business, so they will approach you if you are too shy to ask. Most escorts fly in (from all over the world) on a special 3 month visa and are stunning. The going rate was $80 for the hour with MSOG. Good place to stay if hobbying is the Veneto. It is a Las Vegas style hotel/casino, very nice and you can get a great room for about $140 USD. The girls are everywhere. 5 x 1 ratio as mentioned before or more. Prostitution is legal there but the girls need a licence.

As far as Panama Vs Costa Rica..Panama , in my mind is way better. It is safer, better roads/highways. Medical is first class ( A John Hopkins there) Great restuarants and Multiplaza, a shopping mall could put a lot of the large North American malls to shame.

They also have no property tax and of course with about 150 different banks there good place to keep your cash.
