We should have made a bid for the Olympics or the World Cup of Hockey. No body gives a rats ass about the Pan Am Games except for the participants. John Tory should let all kids 12 and under get in for free & raise our taxes in 2016 (being facetious).

Sad thing is he's already been on quite the spending spree since he took office so a hike in 2016 is inevitable. Party's back on at City Hall!!!

I'll be at the cottage during the Pan Am games.

raising ttc tokens by a dime can hardly be considered a spending spree given the free rides he gave to every kid under 12. The rest of it is what you call proper accounting. All transparent. All good. The Pan Am games are great for the city, for the infrastructure spending, the athletic facilities, the train to pearson.....none of which would have been otherwise built.

Yes, a justifiable increase of approx $35,000 per councillor in spending. Garbage east of Yonge still not privatized. Don't get me started. He's going to raise taxes, development charges & user fees... Just watch.

Why is 311 Toronto still not privatized!?!? They are paying a $60,000+ salary on average (not to mention benefits) for the average call centre rep. This is beyond ridiculous.
