Pam Am - The TV Show

Will you tune in next Sunday(Sept 25) and check it out ?

It stars Cristina Ricci as the Head Stewardess, Maggie, and it is about the pilots and flight attendants working for the Pam Am airline circa 1963.
I think it has a chance. I will at least watch the pilot(no pun intended) next Sunday night.

The Playboy Club also starts next week. set in the 60's it should be worth a peek

That Pan Am show looks horrific!!! and to think they cancelled V for that soap opera trash, ok we get it because of crap like Mad Men all the sudden, the old geezers have nostalgia of the "good ole days", but give us younger whipper snappers a break.

Since I have a fetish for vintage lingerie and corsetry, I will check both shows out. But I'm fairly sure I will see nothing worth my perverted time and interest.

Ricci is a five head, I have no idea why people think she's attractive. She's sometimes had good taste in the movies she chooses to star in, but she is not someone I would go out of my way to see naked--and I doubt she's going to be naked here anyway.

I liked Pam Am, when it was called Mad Men.

Actually Mad Men isn't half bad, but I couldn't be bothered to watch PA. Playboy OTOH, well I am not a fag, so I will give it a shot.

WHY circa 1963?

It was the Golden Age of Americanism.
The wounds from WW2 where fading and the US emerged as the economic and cultural leader of world.
However, the foreboding subtext appeared with Camelot's sudden death.
