I ordered ink cartridges from 123inkcartridges.ca, and they shipped it on August 26 (I saw the tracking info and delivery confirmation). However, I never got the package. Am I out of luck? I don't think the company is at fault, but maybe the post office screwed up or something. The item was said to be delivered successfully.

when was it delivered and were you at the delivery address at that time? Did you have it sent "signature required"?

It was delivered the 26th Aug at noon, I was not there. I didn't have it as "signature required."

Probably out of luck then.... the ink company isn't on the hook because the P.O. has it shown as picked up..... the post office isn't on the hook because they show it as delivered and no-sig required.

One of your neighbours use the same size cartridges?

I hope you paid by credit card, when the charge comes through, file for a dispute.
But you'll lose.... ink company has proof of mailing, post office says it was delivered......

wrong. post office will cover it if as long as the addresee denies receipt. However, they'll pay the sender, so you'll have to get it re-shipped.

Okay, I don't see that info on Canada Post's website. Now will they only cover the cost if you insured it for that amount or do you just have to provide the invoice?

depends on the product used to ship. I believe xpresspost comes with a basic $100.00 insurance, so no invoice required up to that amount.

yes
Track it down further. I had a shipment shipped to me once and it did not arrive. They had my correct address and they delivered it to another address and got a delivery confirmation. It had to be shipped back and then back to me again. I found it they delievred it 1 block away. Guy mut have been stoned... I got it a week late and misse the opportunity that I purchased it for.

Moral to the story. Contact the delivery company and track it down. Confirmation does not me it made it to your house.
