I've got some down time this summer and was thinking about finding some kind of work from home gig, stuffing envelopes, etc. Anyone know if these type of jobs actually exist or are they all rip-offs. Anyone had any experience? Thanks. C123.

They are mostly all the same...
I think it's funny(well maybe funny is not the right word) as hell... but some people have made money at this.
Ad in the paper says, "Make money at home stuffing envelopes"
"Send your info to us now." Or they have a phone # and you call and get a voice mail saying leave your mailing info. They send you a package saying (in a long drawn out explanation) send us $29.95 and we will send you the details. You send them $29.95 and they send you another package telling you to put an ad in the paper just the same as the ad you responded to and do exactly what they have done to you. Tell people to send you $29.95 and send them a package to tell them... blah, blah blah...
F***ed as this sounds more then a few people have made mega $$ doing this. If you put enough ads in enough papers or send enough e-mails (Spam) etc... Odds are enough people (dumb or naive people) will respond. And in the same theory when you send enough packages out... enough will send the money that in the long run you will make a tidy profit.
Only question I have to ask is: How do they sleep at night?
