What are the pros and cons of owning an escort service? I helped two girls by bringing them to Terb and helping them advertise around the net. Now that other girl I know are seeing these two do well I have girls asking me if they can join. I keep telling them I am not an agency but they still want me to hire them.

Would it be a wise move to register a business and start paying taxes or just try to run under the radar? If done properly I can see it being very profitable.

Canada...
Does one girls initial start with a 'S' and the other a 'T'?

If so, you did a good job...

It is a lot of hard work/ hours, but what small business isn't, but go for it if you can find the new talent...

Yes those are the friends I was referring to. As the strip clubs get worst and worst I have girls asking me if the can work with me. How much longer can I say no, and let all that revenue walk away? I would rather do it the legal way and give revenue Canada their cut, plus I would like to deduct all the expenses such as advertising, gas, and hotel fees.

Badseed, if you can find out why VIP and Allison's Angels and many other agencies went out of business lately then you will know the answer to your own question.

I did a search and can't find the real reason they went out of business. They seem to just have disapeared into thin air.

There have been threads too numerous to count regarding the legality of various aspects of the adult entertainment industry - maybe someone should do a compilation. After all of them I thought it was pretty well established that independent women working as outcalls = legal enterprise, agency owner = potential problem.

Regardless, before you go registering your business and letting the good folks in governent know what you are up to you might want to research the phrase, "living off the avails..." and determine if it might apply to your situation, should you decide to go ahead with your venture.

As far as I'm aware, Troy and Sharon of VIP had been wanting to change careers for quite some time. Troy talked to me about his reasons and I have to say I agree with them.

As for Allison, she got married and was pursuing other interests. I know at one point she was considering restarting AAA, but the legalities may have been too much to deal with. (Just guessing on this one.)

Get legal opinion

I don't know whether the gent mentioned above is the ticket but definitely get an opinion and possibkly guidance from a criminal lawyer . . the rule of thumb seems to be to stay small and fly under the radar. An agency is not a legal business.

How do the more popular agencies stay under the radar with all the advertising and exposure they have?

As far as I have heard, running an escort agency is not illegal. Being an escort is not illegal either. But running a bawdy house is, so is harrassing people on the street for sex...But get good advise and see a lawyer.

Was that you? I never answer the phone, but once I was sleeping and forgot it was the business phone and answered it. I did realize what phone it was until it was too late, I got reamed out by the 2 of them for it. The ringing of that phone make me so sick, it rings non-stop.

Don't do the crime...

Can I ask you this: why do you want to become a pimp? Because if you operate an escort service that's what you are. And if you do want to be a pimp, be prepared to spend time in prison because you will eventually get busted.
