Overwhelming % of SP customers on Twitter also review board members, poll shows

The narrative has been put out by some ladies and their followers on SW Twitter that review boards are out of date and should be abandoned. However, a current poll sponsored by SW Nikki Rose shows that membership in review boards by Canadian SW customers who are on Twitter is overwhelming. With a couple of days still to go, the poll shows that TERB membership sits at over 54% of Nikki's Twitter followers. ********** users sit at 35%. And a residual category for guys who either do not use review boards at all or who use other boards - i.e. Lyla's, CAF, etc - sits at 29%. (There is some overlap of categories).

As a result, we can guess that review board membership among Twitter-using customers is at least 80% and could be as much as 90%+.

Some SW's on Twitter have suggested that only a small % of customers are still TERB-users and that these are not desirable customers. As a result, these ladies have sometimes chosen to factor TERB out of their marketing strategy. But this appears to be a very mistaken approach, given the numbers quoted below.

Here is what the poll actually says at the present time:

I saw that tweet yesterday and didn't respond. A little over 30 minutes later was a tweet asking for positive reviews.

There are far too many characters of the like; one in particular who shall remain nameless.

"Wow, I hate all review boards. They are all such disgusting misogynistic men I'll never let one see me again."
"Oh btw, please don't forget to write raving reviews."
"TERB special!!!"

I hope to see a day when people on twitter don't have such a black and white view of the world, but I'm doubtful.

I don't see anything wrong w what she did. She was just asking for a little recognition to help her out when she comes to Toronto. Nothing unfair about that.

It's getting more and more extreme. And recently, the most hardcore are ranting that they've never even visited TERB because we're too disgusting.

So I doubt there'll be much discussion or compromise or experiential learning.

I am a member of Terb and others. Not a Twitter, Instagram user however. I find the information on the boards can be useful if you can sort it from the bullshit and shilling.
The review boards are worthwhile IMHO, frankly it is the only exposure I get to the ladies sales pitches.

Interesting but not surprising. Many of the fanboys and enablers are deep down what the ladies of twitter refer to as slobbyist. In closet slobbyist.

It gives me the chuckles that SOME....I say some of the SP's put so much stock in followers. If they start getting into the thousands of followers the ego's on SOME....I say...SOME of them just go out of this world. It's great, because you get to see real personalities, but I don't have the heart to tell them that 95% of their followers are just there for the free nudes.

Hey gents of terb . I would like to clarify that I do not refer nor have ever referred to men as slobbyists, I think it’s in poor choice to tweet any negativity or generalize all review writers as such . I in fact understand that review culture has its place when used correctly and I respect & appreciate this contrary to what other females may feel about reviews. when I say “used correctly” what I mean by that is men who write genuine & respectfully worded reviews. I’ve met a lot of great guys who are avid review board goers. the poll was out of curiosity to see if people still use the review boards as much & if so which was there preference.
I have toured around the gta but haven’t spent too much time in Toronto or sauga . Although I would like to & so I had made a second tweet asking if anyone who I have seen recently in sauga would mind writing a review for me since I feel reviews can be helpful.
I believe a lot of men can see through any shill reviews or trolling type of reviews & I don’t believe review culture is all bad. There are still a lot of SPs who would agree. Twitter just like review boards can be used as a good marketing tool and can be a good way to get a sense of a girls personality and authenticity. I personally like to keep mine more on the Positive side and prefer not to speak Ill of anyone. plus it doesn’t make much sense to drag & stereo type all men & in the same breath mention how we hate to be stereotyped as SPs. Generalizing is never wise Or kind.

^^^no problem in publicly asking those who have seen you to write a review. The optics, as you can see by comments, makes it seem what you did was wrong. The majority of clients don’t write reviews for a number of reasons. I know I don’t always write them, especially for my top favorites. Many providers ask clients to write reviews but since it is done privately no one knows.

Twitter is something many use to their advantage. What is wrong with that? Maybe, just maybe, it is because it is something you and others can use to promote themselves and that is something clients cannot do. Seems like guys want to be in control but sadly the much smaller percentage of guys on boards cannot change the inevitable and they hate that they have no influence especially over good providers like yourself. So they just bitch and whine when they have the chance. Honestly I know no provider that thinks review boards are bad. And why put all Twitter users in the same basket as the few bad apples.

Fuck Twitter...... girls like it because they control the message and can manufacture their image. Review boards contain actual client experiences that are shared in order that we are educated consumers and can shop knowledgeably. Having said that, there are a few ( or more) assholes on both Terb and Twitter.

Welcome to TERB Nikki! Nice to see your gorgeous face around here. And to the uninitiated, this girl is very special so please give her a warm welcome!

With respects to the OP's comment, I see Twitter and the review boards as opposite ends of a spectrum. SW Twitter is filled with SP's bashing on clients. Review boards are filled with clients deeply resentful of SPs. There needs to be more mutual respect, so I appreciate your comments Nikki. Definitely a step in the right direction.

As for posting a review, I did that ages ago (and my opinion remains the same now as it was then)!

I have no problem with Nikki asking for a review. It's not as though she asked for a fake review or wrote one herself. Everybody needs a little help now and again.

I'm not sure that I understand anything that you wrote in your 2nd paragraph. There are several providers - usually of the "extreme woke SP rights" variety who are calling for boards to be abolished on Twitter. And the thread demonstrates that the % of review board members on Twitter is very high in fact. We can't control the message that some girls put out; but we can certainly not visit their pages or engage their services if they appear unpleasant.

The free nudes are why almost all guys are on Twitter, especially since most of the women are so accustomed to being scammed by Twitter-sniffers and Twitter-trolls that they are no longer friendly to guys who try and chat with them there, unless they already know them.

The most blatant recent example I came across in recent weeks is a "fake lawyer" who was giving nonsensical legal advice to a girl and who blocked me when I called him on it!

My guess would be that the vast majority of clients are neither on terb nor twitter. More are likely on twitter than terb. Terb members are a subsection of a subsection - a smaller group of guys who see escorts, who are already the minority of men. And review boards do tend to be dominated by a relatively small subsection of the subsection of the subsection (ie, there are far more guys who always or usually lurk than who actually write.)

Review boards and twitter can both be useful. I've come to prefer Twitter because of the opportunity to interact with some of the girls in the business. I do like the fact that on twitter they can "brand" themselves - do they try to be playful, funny, flirtatious, kinky, etc. And like most of us over the years I've ended up having a great time with girls who've got bad reviews and a lousy time with girls who've got great reviews. In the end the only way to know for sure is to book time with a girl you decide you want to see.
It would be interesting to have an actual survey, but probably impossible. Nikki's poll suggests that Twitter is dominated by board members.

The occasional, once-a-year customer who sneaks a visit with an escort is probably not on TERB, but who knows?! OTOH, your average TERB-ite consumes 40 or 50x the # of escort service-hours per annum than the occasional user. So a TERB regular is 40 or 50x more valuable in the SW economy.

The occasional is also not a player on Twitter - aside from looking at nudes. The stringent recommendation / reference protocols most Twitter girls use would preclude a newbie from becoming an actual customer. (If you don't play already, you don't have the references from other girls.)

I think it is the opposite. Most do go to review boards. Many are lurkers and just suck in the info provided. Review boards if you know how to eliminate the reviews that have bias one way or the other are still the best way to assess a lady's service.

As for Twitter, many do themselves more harm than good with their attitude. No names but as examples, the one's that must tour to make a good living. They will deny it and pretend they actually are busy here but with the American border closed, they must tour, even if it;s in Canada.

The one thing that many of these narrow minded opinions dont seem to realize, is that out of the thousands and thousands of review forum members out there, not even 5 per cent of them bother to post anything. Or even admit that they use the forums. They just read and absorb info and then decide who not to open their wallets on. A savvy business woman knows how to market herself on ALL platforms. Case in point, the many legends and superstars who have advertised here through the years. They learned that "slobbyists" as they are referred to, are your doctors, lawyers, pilots, masters of industry and business, IT professional, plumbers, construction workers and everybody in between. Guys with disposable income. Thats a pretty big piece of the the lucrative pie they are snubbing their noses at.

Sort of why I started this thread, Fred. The lack of market research among some of the Twitter ladies is astonishing. About 3 weeks ago, a well known local girl explained that she has never bothered to visit the TERB website because she once looked at a review board when she worked in the UK and didn't like it.

She said she welcomed being "blacklisted" by TERB members and felt it would lead to fewer timewaster harassment texts. She seemed to think that TERB was a board of about 30 guys who spent their entire time trying to convince ladies to do bbfs for $50!

I didn't bother to try and explain that TERB has literally 1,000's of members and most of the guys I know on TERB are ANXIOUS to book calls with attractive women and have the necessary cash and spare time. Those "timewasters" are the trolls on Twitter who live in their moms' basements and work at Macdonald's when they're not viewing porn or playing Call of Duty.

The "business planning" for many of those SW's simply consists of opening a Twitter page and hoping for the best.

You shouldn’t throw out a whole bunch of apples because one or two are bad. You'll miss out on a good harvest. Imho I don’t feel this is being taken into account by all. The bigger picture isn’t being thought of for some. TERB is a solid tool to connect/market & some are just too quick to just toss out that opportunity & close the door behind them because of a few bad apples. It’s evident that there will always be troll/shill types no matter if it’s on terb or twitter alike! I can assure you there isn’t going to be any less on Twitter it’s just easier to manage by blocking.
Like I’ve mentioned, I have met some really awesome & very respectful gentleman that are forum frequenters. It would be unwise to close a door with potential opportunity.

Its easy to throw up a twitter page , buy followers & post sexy content of yourself. What’s not easy is genuine interactions , building a brand that is authentic, creating quality content ,investing in yourself & using the marketing tools (Twitter, TERB & other platforms) that are at your disposal. Mindset is everything imho. Reviews can be biased at times, yes but I do not believe reviews are the be all & end all to a girls success , however they most certainly can be helpful & shouldn’t be completely overlooked.

I’m not with the client bashing because of the simple principal that two wrongs don’t make a right. It’s hypocritical . It’s also not really attractive .. if I were a guy I see all this negativity & bashing on Twitter it wouldn’t make me want to book. That’s my personal logic on it maybe others see it different idk.

Can’t we all just get along ? Keep it positive , keep it genuine , keep it respectful ... on both sides.
