Outcall girls and Uber

Last night I contacted a lady that was doing outcalls late evening and she wanted me to send an Uber cab over or call her a cab to pick her up... What..!! I'm use to the girls that make their own way over... So I told her that I've never really order a cab before and feel more comfortable covering her costs when she gets here... So she starting questioning on what I just told her,,, at that moment I was not getting into a debate on how some one is going to get from Point A to Point B which was only 1 mile away..(
So,, I passed and said I would wait till she was doing incalls...
Then she said,,, Ok,, I 'll call myself a cab..
I told her goodnight...
Anyways,,, I ve notice some other ads were outcall girls are asking for Uber up front..
Has anyone dealt with that..?
To bad we don't have a "Outcall" section to share some outcall stories..)

There is nothing bad in her asking you to send a uber. It's just to make sure you're serious. That's an alternative to deposit. You can change your uber name, so it's safe. It was even nice from her to say she'll pay by herself.

Its an alternative to deposit sometime and making sure that you are real and not someone sending her to the middle of barrheaven or orleans. It does happen that someone say okay I want a 2 hours outcall at x place and she spends 50+$ out of her own pocket to have a no show/scam/someone turning at the door. Happen way more often than you would think

You can change your name on uber to whatever you want, or alternatively, you can buy an uber gift card either on the app or off amazon, your name doesn't appear anywhere, and everything can be done in like 10 minutes of planning

It's tough, too many scams on both sides. It would be nice if transactions were subject to the retail sales act and subject to the consequences. Alas, this is the black market and far under the radar for most civilians.
