A little girl was talking to her teacher about whales.

The teacher said it was physically impossible for a whale to swallow a human because even though it was a very large mammal its throat was very small.

The little girl stated that Jonah was swallowed by a whale.

Irritated, the teacher reiterated that a whale could not swallow a human; it was physically impossible.

The little girl said, "When I get to heaven I will ask Jonah".

The teacher asked, "What if Jonah went to hell?"

The little girl replied, "Then you ask him".

Little Mary's cat was very ill so her mother took it to the vet. The vet determined that he could not save the cat and therefore the cat was euthanized.

Mary's mother was concerned about how to tell Mary about the cat's demise. She calmly told Mary that her cat had died, the cat was very ill and suffering badly and that the best thing for the cat was to let her go and be with God.

Mary said "What's God going to do with a dead cat?"
