I agree! This is actually the most practical advice you can give. Spas only provide the facilities. Whether or not you have a good experience depends on the MA.
You could take a look at the GFE MA list as a starting point!
In my opinion Alpha & Hush are the best in terms of aesthetics/facilities, they're both beautiful spas with great amenities, but I 100% agree with seeing a good MA regardless of the spa they are in
Ladies at ALO's west (Carling) location are enthusiastic and have great attitude. But I agree, it all depends on the MA how good an experience you have.
Most would agree that the experience with the ladies is the main criteria for ones opinion of an MP. However, if we can critique the environments themselves, i would say Alpha is the best around. The west location is as close to perfect as one might expect. Huge showers, comfy beds, large rooms, bar onsite, discrete parking, and on and on. Add to this that Jess is a keen business woman who goes above and beyond to make her clients feel valued. When she is working the desk, she usually greets you with a hug and water, though i just had a session today and did not get a hug 
. Regardless, she has various deals to drum up business and is hosting an event/show of sorts with a couple Alpa darlings. Only thing I would change is to have the clients pay up front before the session like CMJ and Paradise. Takes the finance out of the in room experience.
I would say Hush ranks second in the area with spacious rooms and bar onsite but the parking is brutal. CMJ used to host parties and may still but i have not heard much from them. Paradise has spacious rooms and oversized massage tables but there one shower at the end and making clients wait in the room for extended periods of time keep them lower. Sparx/Body Basics as well as Vibe are too far east for my liking. Sparks and BB have tiny rooms and showers and no real personality to them. Vibe is a bit more expensive and fairly ho hum when compared to other establishments.
Now all of this doesnt matter if you dont have good experiences with the ladies. I just had a great session with Chanel at Alpha and I have a fantastic chemistry with Vivienne there as well that keeps me wanting to come back. At Hush, Aleena is a rock star and I am hoping to see Krystal soon. Eva CMJ is one of my all time faves but she is no longer in Canada and my last experience there was underwhelming. Sammy at Vibe is outstanding, but the drive for me sucks and the fact that they chargd an extra $20 to get in just puts a damper on things even if it is only $20. I am done with Paradise /Angels as I dont think I ever get the time I paid for and havent had a reason to want to go back since Victoria retired.
