Court is in session at this very moment in the case of Darquise Johnson as she will be sentenced today for defrauding a disabled man of more than $800 K.
The sentencing has been adjourned for a half hour to allow Johnson to discuss with counsel the pre-sentenced report prepared for the case.
The Crown will be seeking a 5-7 year prison term given the size of the fraud and the nature of deception involved.
