A couple of quick notes:

• Recently saw an old favorite - Taylor at Gladstone. As tall and strikingly beautiful as ever. Great therapeutic massage and she seems to have picked up a few tricks to improve what was already an excellent finish. Too bad there's no extras whatsoever beyond the basic finish but it is a very nice ending and she's a very charming and intelligent lady. It would put a smile on my face just to sit and chat with her.
• Took a chance on one of the generic Asian massage listings in the Sun and lucked out with June. She's located on the east side of Chinatown in a former AMP location. Massage was pretty basic, definitely not therapeutic, but she's an attractive lady - maybe mid 30's - with a pleasant personality and overall I quite enjoyed myself. Might not be to everyone's tastes but worth a shot. Her listing in the sun has the number *8829

A couple of years ago I had a really awful experience at 254 Bank Street. I'd never gone back for massage but I've been there a few times for a haircut. The last couple cuts were with Ping, who also happens to be the new masseuse. Aside from being tall, slender and quite pretty, Ping seemed to be a little sexier than your typical Asian girl and she has a way of rubbing her crotch against my arm while cutting my hair which I find quite endearing. So finally I caved in and tried a massage.

The good part is that Ping, though not having any real massage skills (or at least no obvious training) has a nice sensuous touch and really warm hands and she does a fairly decent finish.

The bad part is that the venue is even worse than before. They still don't have a shower and now the massage room, instead of being in the basement is directly off the main hairstyling area so I'm sure that any little old lady getting her hair permed would have a nice view of my hairy ass if the door was opened. That should make their hair stand on end!

And the room is tiny. Only enough room for the masseuse to work from one side.

And what made the experience almost laughable is that, rather than put a normal cloth or disposable tissue on the bed, they're using a roll of paper - the same type of heavy paper that you use in a photocopier or whatever! WTF?? Imagine lying on this smooth cold stuff that crackles and snaps every time you move. Crazy.

Anyway, bottom line is I like Ping. In a decent setting with a minimum of training she'd be great but 254 Bank is still crap. Oh yeah, Ping's haircutting skills have improved a lot. She's still really slow but she does a decent job now.

Here's another: 305 Rub and Tug Road (aka St. Joseph Blvd) above a tattoo parlour just kitty corner to the Sears store.

The place is reasonable. The bathroom's a little shabby but ok for an AMP.

I saw Tina, a cute little Korean girl who only works Sundays.

Massage was not great, so I wouldn't recommend the one hour option. She has a nice light touch but no real massage chops.

But she does have a sweet little body and seems eager to please.

Stopped by 195 Bank the other day...I got an older Chinese lady, and while the massage was good, it was strictly legit. (I didn't request extras as a) she wasn't that attractive and b) it didn't seem as if anything was on the menu). I was pretty surprised given the ads for this place in the Sun.

Did you go to the right door? The door on the right is legit, the one on the left is where the University Flower is suppose to be. I say suppose as they seem to bait and switch so often with their ads that it is not even funny. The weird thing is the woman who answers the phone and talks all sexy to get you to come is the one who only gives legit massages on the right. Very odd little situation they have going on there.

Went to the place on Somerset near Bronson the other day (not the new studio that has cropped up next door) where Colorful Massage was. Had a decent massage from a lovely lady. She was fairly cute and had some great braids in her hair. Her massage was decent, although felt a bit light at time (I like it hard) but the ending was amazing. Worth a repeat.
