As far as I know, both 45 and 177 St.Joseph are running by Candy. I have been 177 once since they reopen. Met Amy, a very skinny lady, 50+. Her massage skills and finish are top notch. She must be a hottie back in the days.

Suri at CMJ

While this isn't a typical asian massage recommendation, it is a massage by an asian so I figure it fits in here.

Suri is Vietnamese, a gorgeous little spinner who is full of energy and loves to laugh. She's new to the biz so her massage skills will likely improve but she's got the sensual part down pat.

CMJ is a high end hostess club, not a body rub so it may not be for everyone. I know lots of guys here have been to CMJ and just want to let them know of the new addition. I've seen Suri twice and she gets into your head .... in a good way, if you know what I mean.

This hasn't been given for a while, time to dust off an oldie but goodie .... Suri gets the coveted "Slurp seal of approval". OK, it may not be coveted but a lot of you know that means she's a keeper.

She's a very cute girl, very friendly, totally relaxed, and she does a deep strong massage with a really excellent finish.

What's up with Ting Ting's (Bank/Somerset)?

Tried Ting Ting's a while ago after reading about them off and on here for a long time now and I don't understand the attraction at all.

While I wasn't covered by a towel like some of you guys, I got a massage that was neither therapeutic nor sensual and there was no hint of satisfaction. Then my attendant complained (in a pretended joking way) that I didn't offer a tip!

I even gave them a second chance with no better result. What am I missing?

Guess you didn't have TingTing herself ...... the other girls there are hit and miss as far as massage (and finish) are concerned ...... with TT no hj but decent massage although I heard she's slipped a bit too. Helps to ask (and pay) for a therapeutic massage but no guarantee anymore. TT's ain't what it used to be it seems .....

She was never that good anyway in terms of massage skills, therapeutic or not. Neither is her look definitely. I never understand the hype either. (Actually, I do know how the hype all got started and the real reason behind it lol .....) I am surprised she is even dared enough to charge more than regular RMA prices for a theraputic massage when it is totally horrible and feels like crap.

I have to disagree with slurp here totally. Some of her MAs' massage skills were/are totally soooooooooooooooooooo much better especially if you like a firm massage. They ask for a tip because TT pays them like crap just like any Asian MA owners do. It is really hard for them since they have to wait sometimes for hours to make a $20 cut from an one-hour $65 massage so tip the ladies if they do a good job. It is so unfair but that's life in these Asian's owners' mind especially when Lisa at 195 used to pay TT the same way or less.

I do have to say that TT does give a great sensual massage if she is in the mood but it does slip quite a bit from how she used to do it. She doesn't care these days that much any more since she gets more than enough "walk-in idiots" to keep the business growing or going. I guess the bigger ad in the Sun does the trick for her for anyone not knowing.

I agree with semi and slurp but like most the more they see you the better it is, Vivian is like that too. I have had Ting Ting do acupuncture and Vivian do the massage if it is quiet.

Quiet??? Hard to come by .... It is still the same BAD as usual. When someone walks in or calls, TT still walks out or picks up the phone even when other MAs are outside so the massage session is always full of interruption guaranteed!!! I only go back when all the other places are busy.

There is also an idiot that keeps on calling about Vivian .... If TT or Sasha says she is not working today or she is busy till xx hour, it does not help that you keep calling every 15-30 minutes. Go get yourself a gf instead!!! She actually has to change all of her working days just to avoid you!!!!

Had a session with Taylor at Palace Road.

The good news: she's young, tall, slender, well built, and absolutely drop dead gorgeous. Seriously, she's easily one of the most beautiful Asian masseuses I've ever seen in Ottawa or anywhere else. She's also intelligent, friendly, graceful and speaks excellent English. And she does a pretty good massage with an unrushed and pleasant (though not spectactular) finish.

The bad news. Her clothes stay on and you're welcome to touch her anywhere you want -- as long as it's her back.

Aside from that, it would be really easy to fall in love with her.

The other AMPs in Ottawa should pray that she doesn't loosen up her restrictions.

As a side note to Bluenose's review, Taylor is also known as Fang (pronounced Fong) and is sometimes available at 508 Gladstone under that name. Both places are owned by the same person.

As for the review itself, I agree 100%. She does a damn fine massage, I go there when I'm not worried about extras and in need of a great rub (such as after a hot session with an SP that leaves my spine out of whack). She says she was a nurse back in China. Fang's skills are on a par with Coco at Jade and better than what I've gotten at TT's lately. A very sweet girl indeed. And pleasant to chat with if you so desire, her engrish skills are above average for an AMP. She says she was a nurse back in China.

Went to 45 St. Joe again and saw Yoyo. I know there have been a number of other Yoyos bouncing around town, including one up the road at 177, but I don't if they are one and the same. Anyway this Yoyo is a cutie from Guangdong province. Her English is limited but passable. The massage was pretty good, and the tease and finish were very nice. Not really anything to write home about in that regard, but she's got a very sweet personality and nice attitude that I really enjoyed and we ended up talking afterward for so long I nearly missed an appointment that I had coming up. Overall a pleasant experience that I'll probably repeat. If anyone's interested, Candy is still there - I saw her on my way out.

Vivian at 868 Merivale

Wow! She has to be one of the prettiest girls I've seen in a long time. I wonder if she is the same Vivian that used to be on Gloucester and 386 Bank b4 the busts? Fantastic tight lil body and the cutest lil ass. She knows she's gorgeous as her expectations for tips are a bit on the high side. She did promise more next time but I doubt she meant it.

Decent rub, nothing special but hints of sensuality as she rubs with more than her hands and if you rest your arms over the side of the table she straddles and sort of grinds them nicely.

Their ad says open till midnight and I got there at 10 but she would only do 30 min saying she had a headache and was going home early. I'm convinced she doesn't care to waste time rubbing when she can get to the tip part and make serious money.

Not a great value or top level service but if you have a hankering to see an absolutely lovely asian MA and are willing to spend more than it's worth she's your girl.

Saw Taylor again, this time at Gladstone. Apparently she no longer works at Palace Rd. It was my first time at Gladstone and I must say I was a surprised at how nice it was, especially that there was a frickin SHOWER IN THE ROOM - quite a rarity in Ottawa. Overall I thought the place was a step up from the typically grotty AMP environment.

Nothing to add re Taylor except that her release this time was amazing (last time was just pretty good). Massage was very pleasant and professional - nothing special except that there's something about her touch that I find especially soothing but I can't quite put my finger on it. It's like you really feel her working with intelligence, skill and sensitivity.
She's totally low mileage, but I left feeling like a million bucks.
