Hello gents :)
As you know, GP is currently in the midst of finding a more permanent location for in calls and wanted to get some feedback from you in regards to location. We were leaning more towards finding somewhere in hull/gatineau area but wanted to get info from you before making any decisions. I understand that pleasing everyone with location is impossible, but hopefully your input here will help us make the best decision for you and for us.
Your feedback is greatly appreciated :)

I would have no problem with incall location in hull/gatineau area as long as it is not too far from Ottawa. Two of my favorite SPs are located just across the river and fairly easy to reach.

A large number of people take the bus to work so going across the river during lunch or after work is not possible.

Hull/Gatineau would be a mistake, I think. I will not go over as it is so inconvienient. There is a reason why so many touring sps locate in the downtown area. Given the choice, I will take the downtown sp every day over GP if they decide to go over the bridge.

The math says go with downtown Ottawa, independent of emotion-based opinion. PK's got that right.

Also, you have the traffic concerns going across the river. You may as well shut down from 3 to 6 if you set up over there.

From past decade of experience, downtown Ottawa has always been preferred. Girls in hull would head to downtown Ottawa because the volume consistency. Everyone likes downtown because it's close to office and other excuses to use to explain why you are downtown.

The lunch time quickie is the best! Like having a siesta, and starting off your afternoon on the right feet. Or the after work quickie before going home, or going out. Or the "I forgot something at work" ...

Ottawa/Gatineau
Gatineau is a large city. If you're in downtown Gatineau, you'll also be close to downtown Ottawa. But if you're in the deeper parts of the town, you can be looking at a more than 20 min drive from DT Ottawa.

I think downtown Gat is a clever choice, for ex. a place close to the Museum of Civilization or anywhere on the Ile de Hull (the central area, right on the other side of four of the bridges) would be good. If you want to go a little further, you might even want to go up to Blv Fournier (where you could get all the horny guys coming back from the strip clubs), the casino (where the money is) or the UQO main campus (in a very nice neighbourhood).

Keep in mind that rush hour traffic is brutal on the bridges. I believe a good portion of clients prefer visits before heading home in the west/east/south ends of Ottawa.

Plus, look at all the visiting ladies, almost always downtown.

Gatineau/Hull is like going to Orleans or Kanata not because of the geographic distance but because of the peak hour traffic. Best choice for business is downtown Ottawa. I would most likely avoid GP if its in hull or Gatineau.

My personal preference would be west end and Kanata would be the best. Downtown is good for most people but you have to consider the cost too. Hull/Gatineau is out of the question.

The closer to downtown, the better. More people typically means more consistent client traffic during the day (lunch break, after work, etc...), easier access to public transportation for non-drivers.

West end would be my preference, but downtown is ok. Gatineau/hull is definitely a dealbreaker for me due to the bridge traffic.

West End for me as well.

I can't begin to tell you the amount of girls I do NOT go see because they are in Hull/Gatineau. I will never hobby there.

... Carling/Merivale area - Nepean ... two hotels close by the hwy...3 -4 mins from downtown,
I would love to see that!

I have travelled out to that area (usually to see a special SP) from downtown where I work and it is more like 15-20 minutes by car and about 40 by bus. I would echo that downtown is the best central choice. As for the parking...c'mon guys...there is always street parking for a few bucks for an hour...sounds like a odd deal breaker on a $140-$250 luxury purchase.

Maybe it's just me, but normally if I'm heading into Gatineau/Hull I automatically expect to get a $20-40 break given the rates there tend to be cheaper. If I get the normative rate in DT Ottawa, I am more than comfortable. I don't see G/H as a location which commands nor deserve a premium.

It great if I lived in Hull/Gat but same reason why the exact same house over there is 30-50% less than in Ottawa.
