So I am trying online dating. Tinder. Is this worth it? I talked to the 2 women, both are ghosting me now. I just want some feedback and advice from you guys about Tinder. I was truthful with a woman, but I feel like I should have lied. I think if I lied she would have interest in me right now, but it fizzled out.

Online dating is a shitshow now.
Everyone lies and women especially use misleading filters on their photos, plus the stats say something like 90% of women only swipe on 10% of men.
It’s heavily skewed towards females getting bombarded with attention.

I tried Tinder a few years ago. I found most of the women were time wasters who seemed to only be there for attention and validation that men still find them attractive. They were satisfied with the dopamine hit they'd get from being a text/sext buddy if you got to the point of exchanging phone numbers with no intentions of an actual date.
I did meet maybe six but dating during the pandemic was fucked up because of the situation.

Women no1 texted me this morning. So I do feel okay. I'm not fat, or anything, just to make it clear.

I have hooked up with girls via online dating, but it has never led to anything concrete or long term. The only ever actual relationships I have had are women I asked out in person lol.
Thanks for your honest reply. I'll keep it in mind.

Way back we had Telepersonals. Did not work for me but a friend married a women from the system.
However, he did tell me that he and his wife agreed that the marriage would disolve without the kids.
There were also dating agencies like Together. The contract stated that there was a shortage of women in my age group.

I tried it a while back, but wasn’t all that impressed, I was shocked at how many girls on Tinder are looking for a long term relationship. WTF? It used to be pretty much assumed that Tinder was for hookups, or FWB things at most.

Dining out and entertainment are very expensive now. They want long term funding for those things.

They want a guy who earns more to pay for everything but only a small group of these men now exist.
To be fair, men often don't want to do house work either.
It is a mess and a stalemate, thus the declining birth rate.
Just noticed that rymes. A poet and didn't know it.

Number 8: the “no hookup” girl This type of girl let everyone test drive the car
for free. But now that the car has 300,000 miles she’s selling it at full price.

This validation and social media building is a big factor.

“Let’s talk on here more” sure let’s just be pen pals and let me validate you a lil longer. She also probably got in to an argument with her main man so she ran to online dating for simp validation. Most of these women can’t even hold a conversation and give 1 word messages."
