I don't think it's that hard to pick up a lady in a bar. Personally, I find it can be time consuming and just as costly as hiring an escort except the results are not guaranteed and you have little control over the timing of the main event.

This has always been a favourite fantasy of mine. Just seeing an attractive woman in public, and successfully propositioning her. Risky, but I guess that's part of the thrill. Closest I ever came was a long time ago, picking up a woman at a bus stop late at night. I was in my late 20's she in her late thirties. Very exciting experience back at her place.
