Bluetooth

The RF waves used by Bluetooth technology interfere with the telepathic waves used by species such as the Betazed (Deanna Troi) and the Vulcans.

I'm actually watching Goldfinger right now on American Movie Channel (AMC). What I don't get is how OddJob's hat could actually kill anyone. I mean, the worse you could get would be a bad cut. To kill you instantly like that, it would have to sever a major artery or flat out decapitate you. Both of which would require that Oddjob throw the hat at an impossible velocity for a human to throw, and/or the hat would have to be razor sharp without breaking upon contact with the victim (also not likely).

Nope
but keep this in mind. Even now the most reliable connection is via fiber or copper.

well duh...

Of course Data would have some sort of wireless connection...

However, it was much more visually impressive to open his head and plug something in in terms of the production value of the special effects on the show. TV ratings will always trump logic.

When you close the door on Data's head, do the lights go out? </refrigerator>
